One afternoon while visiting Louisville, my wife and I began craving some good Pho noodle soup. Maybe it was the cold weather and the overcast sky… Maybe it was homesickness… Either way, being from the San Francisco Bay Area, we never thought we would find a good Vietnamese restaurant. We could hope though.
Fortunately, later that day a friend invited our family to go to “Annie’s Cafe.” By the name, we thought it might have been an American diner. Boy, were we surprised when we found out it was just what we were hoping for!
Never was a bowl of pho more appreciated then when we had it at Annie Café.
Wow I just went to Annie’s Café yesterday and it looks so nice now, new flooring and a new paint job makes my favorite restaurant look so nice. Also I enjoy looking at the Vietnamese paintings that Annie post on her walls. Yum me and my friends at U of L love her food.
Annie Cafe is great place to eat delicious Vietnamese food with friends. When I come from overseas I like to eat at Annie. Annie and her family and staff are always so friendly. The price it is not expensive and my family gets plenty to eat.
Wow the food here is totally amazing. Annie Cafe have the best Vietnamese/Chinese food in town! Pho is good here, and everything else is delicious!!!!!!!!!
Amazing Vietnamese food, one of the best in Louisville. The Fresh Summer Rolls are awesome, the egg rolls are delicious, the Pho is mouth watering, the Cafe Sua Da is mind boggling, I just love it, the Vietnamese Crepe or Banh Xeo is delicious. Everything is so gooooooooooooood I love Annie Cafe. The service is fantastic.
Annie’s Café definitely one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I especially love her Pho (the beef is the best), and of course her spring rolls (A.1) are to die for!
P.S. If you go be sure and try the iced coffee (Café Sua Da)!
Annie cafe is absolutely one of the best Pho restaurants in the US. I have traveled all over the states and ate at many many Pho restaurant but none can compare with the Pho at Annie’s. Her recipe is passed down from her mother which uses all fresh ingredients. Her beef broth is very rich in flavor. There is no doubt in my mind that she has the best Pho in the U.S.! Family owned with a nice friendly environment.
Annie Cafe has the best Vietnamese food in Louisville, KY - others cannot compare. When I go there I enjoy drinking their ice coffee, which is a Vietnamese French coffee blended in ice and eating their Vietnamese soups. I really liked the sweet and sour chicken when I was in middle school, because me and my bestfriend Trang would go there and eat that dish, it was so GOOD!!!!!!!
You should go try Annie Cafe =)
Annie Café is one of the best places to eat. I love the great atmosphere and the food and prices are just wonderful. I have a friend who was an international student from Vietnam and she hadn’t had the chance to eat Vietnamese food for 2 years. The first time I take her there she was very happy, and felt like she was back in her country again. After that day she keep coming back almost every week. Great food and great people - it is like a family place.
Annie Cafe is the best Vietnamese food in Louisville. Annie and her mother do 100% of the cooking, and in the literally dozens of times we have eaten there, we have never been served an unsatisfactory dish. Annie takes obvious pride in the freshness of her meats, produce, and the flair with which she serves them.
Annie Cafe is one of our family’s favorite places to eat. I was invited to come try “a bowl of soup” by a friend about 3 years ago and I’ve been bringing family, friends, and co-workers every chance I get! Must trys: A.1, E.7, and the sticky rice :)
Annie Café is absolutely our favorite restaurant in Louisville! The food and service is always excellent and easy on the wallet, too. Our favorites are the Pho, E.7, E.15, E.24 and, of course, Chã Giò (A.1) - all wonderful! Many thanks to you and your family. Keep up the good work.

The Lemongrass beef with Curry is great!! So are the crispy spring rolls rolled in the Romaine with basil leaves dipped in the zippy sauce. Yum!
