Stopped by after being out of the Beechmont area for several years. We got greeted by Annie as if we had been in yesterday. All food cooked to order and she remembered how we liked things prepared. All spot on! My wife is a vegetarian and loves this place! Spring rolls to die for, soups are hot, flavorful and filling. When we come into Louisville again it will remain one of our favorite spots to dine.

Jalapeno Shrimp Clay Pot was flipping amazing. Get yourself a Vietnamese coffee, let it drip while eating, then pour over ice. Awesome experience! Thanks again.

Love!! Love!! Love!! Everything about Annie’s Cafe is fantastic from the friendly family-like service to the amazing food. I have yet to have a better spring roll. Sometimes I send my husband on the 20 minute trek to Annie’s Cafe from our house just for the spring rolls. I highly recommend bringing all of your friends and family to Annie’s Cafe for an enjoyable meal.

Our experience from start to finish was perfect. The service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was quiet and cozy, the food was outstanding and the price was very reasonable. We do not live close to this restaurant but feel that it is worth the drive. We left with our bellies full, money left over and lunch for tomorrow! Thank you, we will be back!!!

Annie Cafe can considered to be one of the best Vietnamese restaurants. The savory taste of her Salt and Pepper Shrimp is heavenly. The Wonton soup has a delicate taste and texture that can’t be found anywhere else - thin wrappers filled with ground pork in a rich savory chicken broth that has certainly simmered all day and tended well. Topped with a touch of black pepper and green onion. Going down to the main entrees, there are varieties from vegetarian dishes to poultry and seafoods depending on people references. My favorite dish is Special Rice Plate which has grilled shrimp, pork chop, shredded pork and sunny-side up egg on a bed of steamed Jasmine rice along with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and Annie’s fish sauce. Finish off with a dessert called banana cake with coconut milk. I will definitely come back to Annie Cafe as much as I could to enjoy all her authentic cooking.

This was our first visit to Annie’s - but it will not be our last. The food was fantastic!!! Everything was fresh and prepared with great care. With quality food like this and excellent service, Annie’s should be with us a long time.

Annie’s cafe is recognized among the best of Louisville and has potential to grow. The clientele there is the most diverse I have seen. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff at Annie’s is the most generous.

Annie Cafe is a wonderful place to grab dinner. i believe it is the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. I have been eating Vietnamese food for 26 years now and I would say that Annie has the best PHO(Vietnamese noodle soup) period.

My youngest begs me to come here all the time! Our favorite is A.2 (summer rolls) but here it’s not called that lol… But they sure do taste just like the ones my mom makes us! Plus the Pho is to die for… Great on cold yucky days. If you are looking for true home cooked Vietnamese food…. Then try them out! You’ll love it!!

Annie Cafe is the best Vietnamese restaurant that I had so far, the food is truly delicious and a very welcoming atmosphere. Cooking is authentic compares to other Vietnamese restaurants where the food is so Americanized. Price is very affordable, our party of 4 cost less than $50. As an appetizer I recommend to try A7 which is Salt and Pepper Shrimp. The shrimp are so juicy with a light batter and a touch of ginger and onion that brings out the flavor. Try her bowl of wonton soup (made to order) with a rich chicken broth that you can tell took hours to prepare, it is topped with some scallion and thin slice of roasted pork. Coming down to the main course, the E22 is heavenly, the pork chop, shrimp and pork patty are marinated, grilled and served on a bed of Jasmine white rice. Green lettuce and slices of cucumber and tomato are display on the plate and make such a colorful and a tasty complement to the grilled meats. When the food arrives the aroma of the grilled meats and the jasmine rice together is just wonderful! I surely come back again to enjoy her wonderful food from appetizer to dessert as well as her friendly welcoming staff.

I was introduced to Annie’s cafe while passing through the area. Some friends took us there and it was a wonderful dining experience. I had the E.7 special and it was great! I also enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee…wow…that thing makes a Starbucks double shot seem like Kool-Aid! Try them out, you won’t be disappointed.

I saw their ad in Leo weekly but had no clue what kind of Asian food it is, so I went there to check it out. Turns out it’s Vietnamese and Chinese food. I tried their Com Suong or something. They called it a Vietnamese meat platter. There’s so much on there… porkchop, shrimp, other things of pork and even an egg… all on steamed rice. It was delicious! I’ll definitely come back soon.

Check them out.

One afternoon while visiting Louisville, my wife and I began craving some good Pho noodle soup. Maybe it was the cold weather and the overcast sky… Maybe it was homesickness… Either way, being from the San Francisco Bay Area, we never thought we would find a good Vietnamese restaurant. We could hope though.

Fortunately, later that day a friend invited our family to go to “Annie’s Cafe.” By the name, we thought it might have been an American diner. Boy, were we surprised when we found out it was just what we were hoping for!

Never was a bowl of pho more appreciated then when we had it at Annie Café.

I highly recommend it!

Annie’s Café definitely one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I especially love her Pho (the beef is the best), and of course her spring rolls (A.1) are to die for!

P.S. If you go be sure and try the iced coffee (Café Sua Da)!

Annie cafe is absolutely one of the best Pho restaurants in the US. I have traveled all over the states and ate at many many Pho restaurant but none can compare with the Pho at Annie’s. Her recipe is passed down from her mother which uses all fresh ingredients. Her beef broth is very rich in flavor. There is no doubt in my mind that she has the best Pho in the U.S.! Family owned with a nice friendly environment.

Annie Cafe has the best Vietnamese food in Louisville, KY - others cannot compare. When I go there I enjoy drinking their ice coffee, which is a Vietnamese French coffee blended in ice and eating their Vietnamese soups. I really liked the sweet and sour chicken when I was in middle school, because me and my bestfriend Trang would go there and eat that dish, it was so GOOD!!!!!!! You should go try Annie Cafe =)

Annie Café is one of the best places to eat. I love the great atmosphere and the food and prices are just wonderful. I have a friend who was an international student from Vietnam and she hadn’t had the chance to eat Vietnamese food for 2 years. The first time I take her there she was very happy, and felt like she was back in her country again. After that day she keep coming back almost every week. Great food and great people - it is like a family place.

Annie Cafe is the best Vietnamese food in Louisville. Annie and her mother do 100% of the cooking, and in the literally dozens of times we have eaten there, we have never been served an unsatisfactory dish. Annie takes obvious pride in the freshness of her meats, produce, and the flair with which she serves them.

Annie Café is absolutely our favorite restaurant in Louisville! The food and service is always excellent and easy on the wallet, too. Our favorites are the Pho, E.7, E.15, E.24 and, of course, Chã Giò (A.1) - all wonderful! Many thanks to you and your family. Keep up the good work.

Thank you.
